The detail in the book, In Cold Blood, facilitates the reader’s understanding the imagery that develops suspense throughout. Dick and Perry (the murders of the Clutter’s family) not being “the kind to kick off his shoes and sit by the shore” worked hard to accomplish their murders clear from any possible clues that could be used against them. Nancy faced towards the wall covered with blood due to the bullet that made its way through the back of her head with her hands tied together, blocking her possibilities to escape. Nancy’s mother, Bonnie, tied with “very complicated and artful pieces of art” of knots from her hands to her ankles. A bullet too passed through the side of her head.…

One of the topic we discussed in our women and gender studies class is prostitution, which happens with both sexes but is filled with mainly women. Prostitution can be forced or it can be chosen. The two articles I am going to use in my essay are; “Getting Away With Hating It: Consent in the Consent of Sex Work” by Charlotte Shane and “Prostitute 'Nancy' Shares Her Story: 'You Can Lose Your Life If You're Out Here'” by Rachel Cook. Both articles contain real life accounts from actual prostitutes and the way they see their profession. I am going to use both in my argument that prostitution cannot be just like any other job and therefore should not be made legal or be legal where it is.…

According to the MSN program conceptual framework, a nurse detective uses clinical imagination along with science to evaluate deviations from the expected to prevent or control adverse reactions (WGU, 2013) To apply the role of “Nurse as Detective” I will apply the model element safety and quality. Working as a Clinical Coordinator on an Orthopedic unit I recognize how vital safety and quality are for patient care. Utilizing this element will reduce risks to providers, patients, and families by using analysis of effectiveness of systems that are in place, as well as individual performances. Compare and Contrast Essay Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Dying Detective”, as well as Josh Pachter’s “Invitation to a Murder” both feature the tales of two riveting mysteries. Although they were two different stories, several ideas existed in each that ran parallel in relation to one another. These consistencies include the presence of premeditated actions from the characters, evidence of situational irony, and the indication of a foul play mystery. Conversely, a collection of concepts support the notion that the two stories were unlike each other in major ways.…
