In the book "names will never hurt me" written and published by Jaime Adoff in 2004, is a book that shows and describes how life is for different types of high school students. The main characters in the book are Kurt, the "freek" who's hiding inside himself to escape the bullies, Tisha, who's dark skinned but can't decide if she wants to be with white or black people and gets bullied for that, Ryan, the on his girlfriend Susie cheating girls' crush, and schools' football star that gets beaten by his dad, the Colonel, who always wants him to be the best. And Floater, the principals eyes and ears who could make everybody get suspended from school. Exactly on that day, there's another event. Kyle gets suspended from school, because he's accused to have abused a girl in the girls locker room a few weeks ago. That also means he's suspended from football and can't play at the today's friday night game, what's terrible for him, and even more for his dad the Colonel. As he heard that, he goes to the Principals office where all the named kids are located at this point of time, and Kyle gets called to come there. As he sees his dad assaulting the people in the office with a knife,he runs back to his locker to get a gun his father gave him to 'in case'. He uses it to intimidate him, but then the police finally arrives and knocks them
