When you change your name you change your identity which leads to a loss of a part of you whether that is positive or negative.Changing you name is a psychological act because one must in their soul be okay with their name in order to let it identify your identity, therefore those who change their feel that their name is not a part of them so they have to change their identity as they change their name.
