I would also have coffee, tea and water available to my clients, as I myself enjoyed such hospitalities while waiting to get my nail enhancements done, which I feel is a nice gesture. Have soft relaxing music playing not loud booming music so all clients can relax. Decorate the shop with posters, soft peaceful paintings and other small eye catching decorations that fit in the ambiance to create a peaceful atmosphere in the salon. A clean and easily accessible rest room, that contains a sink, toilet and shower, have adequate hand towels, hand soap and moisturizer for hands which is located near the technicians work room and or station. One very important other thing to ensure is that the salon has proper and reliable equipment. This is very important as you do not want breakdowns which can be costly to the salon , not to mention possible or probable loss of clients who become tired of such breakdowns.
Nail technicians - salon owners need to take care when the physical layout of the salon premises is planned to achieve the maximum possible impression of professionalism and beauty care. By considering all these factors, a genuine relaxing and positive atmosphere can be created within the business environment which will be both attractive to the clientele and extremely satisfying to the owner, as clientele who are very satisfied/pleased talk amongst family and friends about their nail enhancement, pedicure, manicure experience, which in turn can bring in more clientele for the salon

As I made the decision to attend ATA’s Cosmetology program, I had my entire focus on graduating and earning my State Board License and leaving high school to work in a salon. At the time, my passion was to become a beautician because I loved the idea of the cosmetology industry, I embellished this major as my only career I’ll ever have.
