“Rikki-Tikki-Tavi” is a short story written by Rudyard Kipling. It's about love, family, and a smart mongoose and a sneaky cobra that fights Rikki.

First, Rikki has a lot of human characteristics like logic and valience. Rikki got mad after he heard Nagiana say, “ When there isn't anyone in the bungalow, did we have a mongoose in the garden.” Rikki has human intelligence to determine Nagiana's plan to kill his family that is human, and is very mad. His anger want to kill them both, Nag and Nagiana. Rikki saves the lives of many family members because he puts himself at risk because he loves his family. Rikki is also a hero to many birds, and frogs too. Rikki shows emotion of a fighter and a protector.
