The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has its pros and cons. It has been in place for over 25 years. Looking back over the years we can see the effects of the agreement. The benefits may not outweigh the disadvantages. Is NAFTA a good thing for the United States or is it just in place for the benefits of the wealthy and foreign companies.
NAFTA has Quadrupled trade between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This brings trade to over 1.15 trillion dollars as of 2015. It has also increased competition in business which has lowered the price of goods in across the board. The lowered prices dropped government spending by opening there options for contractors creating price wars. These open trade of crops also
