On 3/20/2017, Hennepin County Child Protection accepted a report alleged Physical Abuse, threatened physical abuse of Nadra Mire by maternal grandmother Halima Jidaye. Physical abuse of Nadira Mirre by maternal grandmother Halima Jidaye. Per reporter on on 11/1/17 maternal grandmother Halima and Ifrah were in a verbal argument about Ifrah spending quality time with her husband. Per reporter maternal grandmother was the seen choking Ifrah, punching her in the stomach and almost throwing her of the stairs. Per reporter neighbors and 14 years old brother were able to pull her of Ifrah. Ifrah was reported to have then went inside their apartment to get her daughter Nadra Mire. Halima stated that she use to work in St. Paul to provide for the family. She reported that she left the job so she can support and help her daughter with new baby. She reported that her husband Abdulahi Bille has accepted a job in Amazon and afterward she left the job. She stated that she plans to go back to work once the baby is older and Ifrah does not need her help as much.
Ms. Halima stated her daughter will be moving to her new home once they find a home together and meantime she will support them. She reported that she has a close relationship with her daughter and all her children. She reported that they have been living together about four years since moving to America from Africa and they had no issues. She stated that she never hit or abused her daughter. Ms. Halima stated that her daughter is good child and she has been supportive to her and to her younger siblings. She reported no concerns with Ifrah.
Ms. Halima denied history or child abuse or neglect. She denied any mental health. CPI asked about physical discipline in the house and she stated that she only talks them verbally because they all are grown kids. She stated no physical discipline. Ms. Halima reported no concerns with the
