“Not even Allah will take Hamed away from me.” This is a quote said by Nadia who is in the story “Nadia the Willful.” As the title suggests is known as Nadia the willful because she is very stubborn and angry. Her brother Hamed that recently died was the only one that could calm her down Nadia. Throughout the story, Nadia was brave and stubborn, but most of all she is caring for everyone in her tribe. Nadia is stubborn. In the story, Nadia is known as Nadia the willful which represents that she is so stubborn that everybody knows about it. Everybody calls her Nadia the Willful which means that she is so stubborn that everybody knows about it. In the story her mother said “Remember your father’s promise of punishment!” Nadia didn’t listen to her mother, and instead said “I will speak of my brother! I will!” This is Nadia disrespecting her mother's words, and disobeying them because she is so stubborn. And, for the reasons said Nadia is stubborn.

First of all she cried when her brother Hamed died. Nadia was cared about Hamed so much that her father had to silence her. This was her crying so much that her father had to stop her when she heard her brother Hamed died. She also reminded everybody of Hamed. She did this by talking about Hamed, and sharing different things that he taught her or things that she remembered about him. As well, when her father wept because he couldn’t remember
Hamed until she told him stories about Hamed to make him remember Hamed. As the points above stated Nadia is caring.
Finally, Throughout the beginning of the story she was known as stubborn and angry. This is because she usually is angry when something doesn’t go her way. But, throughout the rest story, Nadia grew to be determined, stubborn but most of all caring. This can justified by when Hamed dies, she becomes determined to remember him, and help other people remember
