Nabozny’s first step to standing up for himself was simply talking through his fear filled days with some kind hearted adults. Jamie had bad experience with talking to adults in the past, since they did not do anything or dismissed the case, but nevertheless, the bullying was relentless and it was time to try again. After being constantly harassed at Ashland High School, Jamie’s days were filled with hurtfulness and pain, which led to him eating lunch in his teacher Ms. Liz Woodworth’s room. Liz felt sorry for Nabozny, that he was too scared to eat lunch in the cafeteria, and how he ran to all his classes in fear of torment.
