Furthermore, the following summer I had the opportunity to shadow nurses and doctors for a month at the Anhui Provincial Hospital in Anhui, China. During my time there, I saw firsthand how healthcare differed globally due to culture, policies, and resources. Through both of these experiences, I gained an understanding of the numerous inequities in the world, and I believe that global partnerships and community development projects will aid in solving such problems.
