NOAA is an organization that was created by the government for the purpose of monitoring ocean waters and the weather of our nation. NOAA monitors and forecasts the atmosphere along with the help of the NWS or the National Weather Service (http://www.weather.gov/). Both of these organizations have important jobs and both save several every year. NOAA is primarily responsible for studying oceans on the atmosphere for the purpose of learning more about them and predicting impacts of the atmospheric changes. The National Weather Service’s primary focus is to forecast and study weather conditions in the US.
