NHS Reflection

I feel honored with the chance to be considered as a student for National Honor Society and hold the value of the four pillars high in my individual standards and behavior. I am excited to see what the this organization and its developed goals change in this upcoming year. A correct understanding of the overall mission of the National Honor Society is noticeably aligned with the goals I set personally. NHS is meaningful to me because it is a great organization for me to be able to improve my work ethic in regards to every part of my life, horseback riding, babysitting, family relationships, and yearbook. I also enjoy service work of all kinds and I am looking forward to the chance to continue giving back to the community through NHS. By being a positive voice in my everyday routine I am able to brighten the lives of others through repetition. This aids in being a strong leader in the aspect that I purposefully listen to each contributor and their ideas. I am a hard worker, in today's society that makes knowledge so easily accessible with no effort I chose to make my learning my own by being intentional with my studying and understanding the importance of homework. Another character quality of mine that stands out is patience and maturity. I am a sister to four siblings, a role that leaves an impact with every move I make. With this role I believe it is best to be an example of persistent work ethic, which is one of the many reasons I work my hardest and give my all in school, this has been my motivation to study through late nights, stay after school for yearbook and babysit to show as much care for others as I can.
