They tell you, to memorize the multiplication table or the formulas or how to solve a certain math equation. However, the job I will take in the future, might not involve that subject at all. I could be getting a job that involves me to interact with other people, to present certain things and persuade them. In high school, they don't have classes that would help us with that. I think the K-12 system would help students more, if they were to provide classes that would teach us about finance, how to get a job, with interviews, or more importantly how to pay taxes. I remember asking my mom and aunt, as well as my older cousins, how they learned how to pay their taxes.
