One may ask; how does a $12 billion league screw up a preseason game? How can such a giant institution such as NFL make such a series of basic mistakes? Well, these are the questions most NFL fans are asking themselves. The NFL Hall of Fame game was cancelled due to poor field conditions. The game between Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts was cancelled as the paint and rubber used in the field was messed up and looked like tar. The NFL betting odds can best describe the situation as the screw up of the season.
Well, while some may attribute the melting of paint and rubber to the summer 2016 record setting heat level, investigators think otherwise. According to reports, the melting of paint and rubber is as a result of poor workmanship.

Tim had played a concert on the field on Friday night and the festivities had a toll on the condition of the field and worsened by the storm that followed. However, even before Tim had held the concert, the condition of the field was still messed up.
The game was to be televised nationally; it is therefore a complete disaster for NFL to cancel such a game. Whether the game was a pre-season or not it was an utter failure due to clumsy reason. How do you explain to thousands of eager fans that the game was cancelled due to poor painting? While it’s true that the Hall of Fame stadium has had its issues in the past, this was a completely new level.
Jim Irsay, the owner of and CEO of Indianapolis Colts, was very pissed about the cancellation of the game. He asked how a $12 billion league could not have a field ready to go. In his fury, he said that the people wanted their money back. As for him, he was sure that the NFL would make them jump through some hoops first.
