Studying abroad would be personally fulfilling to me. I have never left the continent, and it has always been a prominent goal of mine. There are some lessons you simply cannot learn in the classroom, and I would love to gain an education in a completely different part of the world. I have read about World War II, studied it, and I took the test. However, nothing compares to seeing and experiencing where it all went down. As a business student, I feel as though it would be extremely interesting and valuable to understand how the European Union rebuilt its businesses and structure after a devastating war. Thus far, in my academic career, I’ve learned about a topic and then I’ve been tested on it. In contrast, the study abroad experience will allow me to learn about a topic, and then experience it and see it for myself. The idea of this type of hands-on learning opportunity is fascinating, exciting, and is sure to stretch my comfort
