The candidate have to apply to the dental regulator authorities (DRAs) according to the province that candidate wants to work. Each dental regulatory authority has their own rules and may require extra documentation or exams (NDEB, n.d). In British Columbia, the Dental Regulatory Authority is the College of Dental Surgeons where all dentists must to register in order to practise in this province. According to College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (n.d), there are 12 classes of registration: full registration, certified specialist, restricted to specialty, academic, limited (Armed Services or Government) , limited (Education) ,limited (Post-graduate) ,limited (Research), limited (Student), limited (Volunteer), Non-Practising and Temporary. Full registration is the category for general dentist/practitioner.
