    Masque Ball Game Analysis

This is a game that is completely possible to do and could be entertaining if the graphics and gameplay are done right. Basically, you start at a friend's house or, perhaps even better, at a masque ball, with eerie masks and victorian-like atmosphere or 1920's style. There are at least 12 or so people, including men and women. The game starts with a cutscene in which they're sitting at the table, having some kind of "truth or dare" game, in which they ask each other questions that get more personal and more disturbing and they have to answer honestly.…

When compared to the previous game between these two sides, the Celtics-Nets matchup was fairly one-sided. The hosts went on a run in the very first quarter, never allowing Brooklyn to climb back into the game. After displaying some solid defensive effort in the Thursday’s game, the Nets went back to their old ways by allowing the Celtics to score 120 points. From the first possession of the game, it was obvious the Celtics came out ready to hustle. Atkinson’s team couldn’t get many open looks, but at least they were able to hold back Boston as well.…

After sitting comfortably at #3 in the Eastern Conference for a month, the Boston Celtics have hit a little bump in the road. With 11 games remaining in the regular season, the Celtics are now tied for the third spot in the conference with the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks. Another .5 games back is the Charlotte Hornets at 40-30 with 12 games remaining on its schedule. With three more teams (Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons) within 3.0-3.5 games of the Celtics, a playoff spot is far from assured. Of the nine teams occupying the top nine spots in the conference, only one team has failed to record a winning record over the last 10 games.…

The NBA defending champion Golden State Warriors traveled north last evening to face their divisional rival Portland Trail Blazers in their second game of the preseason. While finals superstar Stephen Curry seemed like his old self, launching a half dozen successful three-point attempts on his way to a game high 30 points, the rest of his supporting cast did not play nearly as well. Portland built a six-point lead after the first 12-minutes, then added another 9-point separation to head to the locker room for intermission with double-digit 15 point lead. The Warriors would make a half-dozen runs at the Trail Blazers to start the second half, but could never really threaten the home court Blazers.…

As the dilemma filled season continues to wind down more complaints within and outside the New York Knicks franchise continue to make headlines. It's amazing to realize the New York Knicks have reached the dubious 50 losses mark for the third consecutive year under team president Phil Jackson. The latest defeat came in the team's final regular season road game against the Memphis Grizzles 101-88. The final points of the game quickly made more headlines with complaints rather than the Knicks poor late game execution. Grizzles rookie point guard Wade Baldwin IV ran up the score violating the always unwritten rule at the end of games with an uncontested three point basket as time expired.…

Gone Home is a narrative exploration game by the company Fullbright that stars Kaitlin Greenbriar returning to her family home after being overseas. Gone Home is often questioned on the complexity of its game play, and is often thought to be more of an interactive story, however it does fulfill the requirements of a game and I will be discussing various game play mechanics in Gone Home such as the different objects and their attributes, rules for game play and the overall design that help to support the narrative, as well as how all of this is used to create an effective story and why this is the best medium for such a story. I will start by giving the briefest of summaries; the game opens with Kaitlin, who we control in a first person perspective, returning home to a locked house all set in the 90s Their is a note left…
