N-V Cougar Practice
It was just another regular day to practice for the Niobrara-Verdigre Cougars at Niobrara. All of the Verdigre football players despised going over to Niobrara for practice. It was the usual ride over there with all of us talking about how school went that day, about football, or about other topics in the news. We would turn up the radio if a song came on that most of us could sing since we knew the song. It would seem sometimes that it seemed we were on the way to choir practice not football practice.
