Are myths truly meaningful? Great myths are not simply silly stories, or superstitious tales. They are more they give us insight on events that have happened in the past. Myths are the building blocks of most religion and beliefs. Myths change from culture to culture. Myths are interesting and meaningful. They prove to us the way we should live and do things. In the case of ‘The Wooden People’ it tells of the ‘Makers’ third attempt at making humans. The humans are made of wood with no heart and no brain. They abuse their animals and everything around them. The things around them begin to punish the wooden people by eating and torturing them. To the average untrained reader you may get something useless from this, but to others who know the
