Myths were created to help explain the unexplainable. They started off as stories about how the world came to be, what caused natural disasters, and who makes the door creak -- but above all else, they served a purpose to help guide civilization together but also create an uncertainty of fear. My topic is about the impact that myth has over western civilization. I’m interested in this because America was built and known as the “melting point” from diversity and freedom of different beliefs that help guide america to a better future of understanding one and another.
