Demeter was the goddess of harvest, grains and the fertility of the earth. She was also known as a goddess of scared law and the cycle of life and death. Her parents were Cronus and Rhea. Her daughter was Persephone but was stolen by the underworld which is known as Hades and his wife. Although she searched and searched for her she never found her. Her anger lead to putting a curse on the Earth. While Demeter grieved from the loss of her daughter the earth became a baron and she forgot all about it. The struggle of getting her daughter back was the creation of seasons.
