Throughout the world today, many may say that we are blind to the real world. What does this actually mean? Some may ask and some may have the answer. There are many different stories of how we are in a dream world; or being blinded by the government . Rather than living what our true lives hold for us. Countless remarks have been said about this all over the web and in time in conversation with one another.However, The Divided Line and Myth of the Cave both have relation to this topic Also one other story as well,Parable of the Sun ties within these two stories. .As Socrates would in deftly explained to one of his colleagues of these two stories in dialog and diagram. This is in the abstract world, also known as the world of patterns of patterns. Understanding leans more towards the law/ right from wrong. In the Cave, once the prisoners are set free they see the non-prisoner with the material making the image. Also,they see the real shadow of the object once out to see the truth and understanding of what reality vs. imagination actually is. As for Reason/ Logic for the real difference in things to see the actual and real object in the outside world rather than in a cave with it being on a wall.. Finally to see this all clearly is the sun the sun is not part of the Divided Line. It is linked with the Parable of the Sun, the sun in this story is good/ the truth being told.While in the Myth of the Cave the sun is the fire that they had in the cave which hold the same meaning to see the truth. But in these separate stories the sun is in the concrete world in the Parable of the Sun to cover what the truth actually is. While in the Myth of the Cave the sun is in the abstract world that was covered up in the concrete world as the fire to show images rather than the actual
