We are seeing how people from all faiths and culture’s like in the September 11 memorial are being more respectful of one another; they are building friendships and realizing that many of these other religions are just as valuable as the one that they practice. In addition to this, I believe that many young people are becoming more curious about not only the Christian faith, but about religions of all kinds. People are asking more questions about creation, evil, salvation, human dignity, and end of the world. I feel that for this reason now, people simply just can’t believe that Christianity is the only faith that will lead them to salvation and I agree with mentality. I think that we just can’t deny the fact that other religions have many good values and universal truths. When anyone of any religious background starts thinking that they have the only absolute truth then they can’t grow as a human and become stuck with a very narrow view of how the world should be. I myself used to think that it was wrong for me to be curious and be wanting to explore different religions, but now I understand that the more I learn about others, the better of a Christian I will be. As a communications major which wishes to focus in public relations I think this new understanding of religion and faith will definitely help me to be able to reach all types of clients and enter foreign markets with more understanding and sensitivity about who my audience
