Myrtle Beach is located on the southeast coast of the United States in South Carolina. I attended to Myrtle Beach multiple times over the summer for vacation. Myrtle Beach is a relaxing ,enjoyable, and satisfying place for exciting moments. Myrtle Beach has a bunch of green undulating trees near the beach where everyone goes. The clouds are white and puffy with the light blue sky. It is full of sand , animals, and people in Myrtle Beach. People wear bathing suits that have bright designs on them. Kids yelling and talking to their friends and others are talking in their loud voices. The blue salty ocean waves pushing against the sand and the wind whistling in your ear very loudly. Loud music playing from the giant black jukebox in the background. …show more content…

Charleston, South Carolina, the jewel of the south. A town that time has yet to permeate, where horse drawn carriages still serve as a mode of transportation, resulting in over 4.5 million visitors every year (“In Charleston, S.C., Resistance to Cruise Ships”). In Roxane Gay’s article “Why the Beach Is a Bummer” she explains her outlook on the beach and why it’s a place of discomfort rather than fun. “This is an ideal beach of hot sun, warm sand, crystal-clear water that leaves your skin salted. But it is all too often a mirage”(Gay) the beach isn’t always a place for everyone, and the expectations of the beach often leave people let down or disappointed. There was a lovely park nearby and plenty of open space to play with pets and enjoy a picnic lunch with family. We routinely spent time at Pismo Beach, searching for sand glass running in the waves and breathing the invigorating air. I was constantly in awe of Gods magnificent creation!…

The first meeting was held on October 29th, 1947, and less than a year later the motivated assembly of peers managed to get a charter from the Secretary of the State of South Carolina. It is still one of the most well-loved places in Myrtle Beach, SC. Robert Trent Jones, one of the world’s greatest golf course architects, designed the layout for The Dunes, and did renovations (after many other upgrades over the years by others) in 1992. At the beach you get to play in the sand or swim in the water. Building sandcastles in the sand is one of my favorite things to do. You also get to watch the Dolphins and the fisherman's as they pull in sharks or whatever fish they might catch. Playing in the water riding the waves then it's also fun.
