Started in 2014 by IIT Delhi alumni- Rohit Taneja and FMS Alumni-Ankit Singh, Mypoolin was initially launched as a web application. Soon after its launch, the company earned a revenue up to INR 10 lakh in the first four months giving it a positive kick start.

The company was started with the aim of solving the, “Money pooling paradox”. People often go for social as well as professional meetings to various places to eat, watch movie and other entertainment activities etc. The aim for all such activities is to improve bonding however one person (usually the organizer) often ends up with the responsibility of collecting money contributions from all others. This in turns ends up in embarrassing situations of chasing your friends for money which contradicts the aim of having a get together. To solve this paradox, Mypoolin provides a technology friendly method to pool money. Here user can create an upcoming event and invite his/her friends to join in, the friends can then opt-in/out and when the attendees are finalized everyone can effortlessly do a smooth transaction of money via any payment

The HCGPP is promulgated and revised by the Personnel Officer and enacted upon a vote of the County Council pursuant to Article VII, § 706 of the Howard County Charter. Chesapeake Surgical, Ltd., 443 Md. 289, 298 (2015) (quoting Christopher, supra, 381 Md. at 209). Accordingly, as we set out to construe the HCGPP, our analysis begins by…

Ogden v. Gibbons, Heart of Atlanta Motel, and Solid waste cases are all closely related to the 2012 U.S. Supreme Court decision upholding the constitutionality of the Obamacare act. Each case deals with the specifics of commerce, mostly with commerce “among the states.” With the commerce clause being viewed from many different perspectives over time, it has given great importance to the meaning of our laws and regulations that we have set today. These three cases alone along with the Obamacare act, have affected the way interstate commerce is viewed. The most commonly used commerce clause in Article 1, Section 8, of the Constitution, is the cause of the “power to regulate Commerce..among several states.”…

In the case of Williams vs Florida, Williams argued that his rights had been violated when the State of Florida did not let him use the fifth amendment as a reason to not give the name of witnesses that could corroborate his story as an alibi. He also said that the fact that he was getting a six-man jury rather than a 12-man jury, violated his constitutional rights. The jury ended up convicting him of robbery with a life sentence. His claims of violation of his right to a jury and right to not incriminate himself by providing an alibi, which would in turn give the state the opportunity to find a way to rebut his testimony, were rejected. There were majority and dissenting opinions.…
