Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strengths Finder And Holland Code

After carefully analyzing my results from the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strengths Finder and Holland Code, I now obtain a stronger understanding of myself as an individual and a learner. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator provided me with my four personalities which allowed me to thoroughly investigate each particular word and learn how I approach different scenarios. Before taking the type indicator exam, I knew how I operated as an individual and student but I was unaware of the specific words that stood behind my personalty. Now when people ask me, “tell me about yourself” or “how do you operate," I have strong and accurate vocabulary to use. The MBTI, Strengths Finder and Holland Code all told me that I was organized. This is shown though my judging character in the MBTI, my strength of discipline and my Holland Code of conventional. It was also very obvious to me that all three inventories told me that I like to take action. This is shown though my extraversion personalty, my strength of an activator and my Holland Code of the creators. Although the Holland Code has “the do-ers” who are the people who realistically take action, the artistic aspect allows individuals to come up with ways to please others and take change in that way. As a result of taking the MBTI, Strengths Finder and Holland Code, I know now what I need in a work environment and have an idea of occupations that would suit my personality. Given my strengths and personalty traits, I can now search for jobs that require the skills I am good at as well as match my personality traits to jobs that need specific individuals. In class we also received a sheet that listed several occupations and the holland code that was associated with that particular job. I can use my personalized holland code and determine the occupations that best suit my code. All three of these investigations provided me with information that I can now apply when searching for a job as each particular inventory provided me with particulars about my work
