Upon taking the Myers-Briggs personality assessment, I identified with the ISTJ group. ISTJ personality group is also known as “THE INSPECTOR”. You may be asking, what does ISTJ mean? Well ISTJ personality category stands for Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. People like me that relate to ISTJ’s category are known to be stubborn, insensitive, strong willed, honest, and responsible. My “ISTJ” communication style is very simple. I am very direct and straightforward. I like for things to be clear as water. ISTJ’s tend to be shy and don’t talk much, but don’t underestimate me. I know more than I say. And I know more than you think. I don’t like to do much talking, unless we’re friends. I rather observe my surroundings like an inspector. ISTJ’s are very detailed oriented. We have great memory to remember details and important information like people’s birthdays. …show more content…
ISTJ’s appreciate real long-term relationships. Whether its friendships, co-worker, or a significate other. ISTJ’s built their relationships to last a lifetime and like to be able to count on those relationships. ISTJ’s are very hard working, they tend to be good providers for their families. They love stability and financial security. ISTJ’s also like to keep family traditions alive. My chosen major that is a suitable career path for an ISTJ is an A.S in Science and Engineering Tech. My chosen career fits my personality type beautifully because the characteristics of an ISTJ are needed to fulfill this type of workforce. You need to be able to work independently. Meet deadlines. Work and follow the rules by the book. Be calm and practical. Honest and direct. Detailed oriented. ISTJ’s are reliable and hardworking folks. We don’t play, we get the work done. But most importantly we are dedicated up to our necks when we are working in something we truly
