Myers Briggs personality tool is based on 5 factors, the Five Factors are Extraversion, Agreeableness, Consciousness, Neuroticism and Openness. The personality test contained 41 questions which I answered and got my feedback based on the following scores: 34 on Extraversion, 28 on Agreeableness, 40 on Consciousness, 18 on Neuroticism and 23 on Openness. The first factor is Extraversion. Extraverts are often recalled as being more active, energetic and full of life (Costa & McCrae, 1992). They want to be the centre of attention and seek the interest of others (Ashton, Lee, & Paunonen, 1999). Based on Briggs feedback test, I had a score of 34 which is relatively high and makes me a more energetic person who doesn’t want to stay alone for a long time. …show more content…
It represents the urge of someone acting as a team player, a person who trusts and is gentle to his co-workers (Graziano & Eisenberg, 1997). Additionally, people tend to value the relationship between one and another and try to avoid any sort of disagreement (Graziano, Jensen-Cambell, & Hair, 1996). As a person who scored 28 on this dimension it places me in the middle. Third factor is Conscientiousness. People who score high on this factor such as me who scored 40, a person who is determined to achieve his dream and would do anything to succeed it (Costa & McCrae, 1992). On the fourth factor, which is Neuroticism, I scored 18. The lower the better, as people who have a high score are the people who see only the negativity in life. Lastly, Openness. Openness is a trait towards people who have an interest in culture and education (McCrae & Costa, 1997). Personally, I scored 18 which is relatively low but also my reality.
