Myers-Briggs Analysis

The Myers-Briggs assessment pin pointed every single attribute that applies to myself. Many points from this article really struck my attention, but the three things that struck my attention the most is how I feel like others treat me, how family oriented I am, and that I keep friends close to me who have been there for me the most and longest. The Myers-Briggs assessment results was a ISFJ, which means introvert, sensing, feeling, and judging. As I read through my results, I started to realize that everything in this article was me. I like to be to myself sometimes and be in a large group with everyone talking. I cannot dwell on how much this article was exactly me.

The first point that was interesting in the Myers-Briggs article is how others treat me. My passion in life is to serve others and put their needs before mine. I like to help others, but when others start taking advantage of me, that is when I start to get upset and disconnect myself from them. I always love having my family around and be somewhere with people that are familiar. My family and I love going to the beach to enjoy the nice weather and sun so when we are at the beach, I have a sense of calmness. My family means a great deal to me, so without them I start feeling anxiety and homesick. Even in college, my first three days were awful because I knew my family was going to be leaving me soon and heading home. Now that they are home, I always find a way to communicate with my family, so I know that my family is always there for me. When someone makes a joke about my sister, then I get into a defense mode and start telling that other person to go pick on someone else.
