Myers-Brigg Personality Analysis

The Myers-Brigg personality test pegged as an INFJ and I agree, for the most part. The general description was spot on, though life has an interesting way of shifting one’s personality. In fact, I tested as an ENFP less than 10 years ago. To be fair, I was close on both the E/I and P/J when I first tested. A lot changes in ten years and I adjusted accordingly. I am at my core a free spirit, I believe in living life moment to moment and taking it all in when you can. I do a lot of processing in my head and can sometimes I do it so quickly that people perceive me as impulsive. I can be, but I am usually moved by a feeling I get from others. This serves me well as a parent, spouse, and friend, because I generally can sense what is needed and will change my course to see their needs are met. Being a parent and wife has changed how I approach the mundane, but not my overall process. For example, I am much less spontaneous than I once lived because I am managing multiple lives and there has to be a structure to get everyone taken care of. Perhaps it is intuition, I am quite observant and exceptional at reading people, and yes, it does create a bit of defensiveness and often times a protectiveness. This applies to both me and those I love. If you are able to come into my circle, I will give you 100%. However, if you are not, you would be lucky to get even half of that. I have a two strikes philosophy for most people. I am sensitive and let’s just say my bullshit meter is spot on, and I have trained myself to weed people. I can now do that with no apologies. In short, I am no longer as outgoing (or concerned) as I once was about being nice towards everyone. Nevertheless, I am loyal, giving, loving and endlessly available towards those who are good to
