I have found that as I write I struggle to stay on topic, because I start thinking about the next think I’m going to write about even before I finish my current idea, which leads to undeveloped ideas. For example, in the language assignment, I begin talking about how “some bilingual students in a study reported that they felt isolated and discriminated against by fellow classmates who were perhaps native to the area they were in” (Acceptance is around the Corner 2).
