Dear, Rose By reading your essay I realize that you made the same mistake that I did in my essay. Your essay lacked of structure because you didn’t write completed thought in each paragraph that you wrote. You just jump from paragraph to the other and that can make a little confuse to the reader. To improve your writing, you have to follow the three important keys in the writing skill which are paragraphs, transitions, and transitional devices. To be honest with you buddy, I still struggle with this because my English is my second language like you. Anyways, I have some ideas about these writing skills from my COM-101 class and I would like to give you some hint to improve your writing.
First of all, paragraph is a group of related sentences about a single thought, idea or topic. A paragraph has three essential elements: the topic, supporting details, and main idea. When you start to write a paragraph you should have your main idea clearly to

Using transitional devices in the correct context they signal different types of relationships or movements between ideas. Transitional devices have many kinds that you can use. For example, if you want to contrast, you could use words such as on the other hand, rather, even so and so on. Or if you want to chronological order, you might use words like suddenly, as soon as, later, first, and etc. These transitional devices will help the reader to convey to the following paragraph. As shown above, to improve your writing skills you have to use these three important keys in your essay: paragraph, transitions, and transitional devices. Being better writer it will take a lot of practice. Specially, for the students who have the English as a second language. Try to use these in your next essay to be able to write well.
