This doesn’t have a good effect on a developing child no matter what age. If Bechdel’s father showed more attention and cared more about his daughter, could this writer’s whole writing style changed? In the article Bechdel’s wrote about her father, there were little happy times or even joyous memories for her daughter to remember. The article style is grey black with little to no color. The majority of this writing is also dark and glomus. What writing style could have been made if things were different with her father? She could have had a colorful writing style filled with wondrous tales and legends. I may not be a good writing on non-fiction events but when it comes to letting my minds roam to where ever it may be the sky is my only limit. At first it was great and I loved it because of how I didn’t have to get up early in the morning and I could take breaks whenever I wanted to during the school year. The freedom I had was such a great thing. I could just take off a week and go anywhere I wanted to with my parents. A lot of days me and my dad would take off and go fishing. That’s all the good things but as I grew older I had few friends and wasn’t able to play sports. I became sluggish and hated doing my school work and would find any way to get out of it.
