Having to apply what I learned from each essay has really helped me a lot. By learning to use MLA style to have a better look throughout my essays, and fixing unnecessary semicolon and using commas when needed to avoid run on sentences or fragments, as well as eliminating to-be verbs for shorter more detailed sentence, and how to use work or words that aren't mine correctly to avoid plagiarism. From learning all those things, it has totally changed my way of writing because the way I used to go about my written, is not even close to how ENGL 101 changed me to being a better writer than I was before.…

What expectations have been placed on your writing in the past? I was fortunate enough to go through high school with a group of great group of English professors, people who really cared about their students and wanted them to succeed.
