I like to pick topics that are interesting. I also think I can come up with a basic template. For example, the first paragraph with a thesis, 3 body paragraphs and a solid conclusion. Another thing I think is a current strength is the usage of transition words. Transition words such as furthermore, moreover, and in addition. I really enjoy writing personal experiences more than any other papers.
I have various challenges when it comes to writing. The first being sentence fluency. Sometimes I have the correct idea, but sometimes it lacks structure. In addition, sometimes I go overboard with the usage of commas. This usage of commas makes my sentences seem run on. Since English is my second language, I tend to make mistakes with spelling. Also, citing sources can be overwhelming. Even though there is websites that help you cite and paste it to a works cited, I want to fully understand the process. It can have negative consequences, one being expelled from college. People shouldn’t be stealing other people’s ideas without the proper citation. One can commit self-plagiarism too if you don’t properly cite. I think it is extremely easy to avoid plagiarism. Being genuine about your ideas in every paper shouldn’t be difficult if you start your assignment with time to think of ideas. If you take your time to write your paper, you shouldn’t be rushed. Rushing a paper can cause panic and that is where students start copying other
