My Writing Skills

When reading the articles, I thought that a few of the topics were interesting, and that I need to improve to become a great writer. Also, I found there were a few writing skills I like in addition to some that I dislike. A couple of concerns that might happen in the future came to my attention while reading the articles, and hopefully those concerns never happen.
Writing is an area where people need to improve on. A couple of the areas I must improve on are clarity, completeness, and changing words from passive to active. The articles did a great job at explaining what writing skills future employees need in the work force and to improve on. Before I came to Murray State University for Engineering Graphics and Design. The manual for the tire balancer never stated anything about the setup or lubricating the machine. A few lessons people could learn from the Auto industry is that people need to write clearly and put some information on how to properly maintain a machine. So, people don’t get confused and hurt. Also, there needs to be improvement in the identification between the manual for installing a radio in a car, and the brochure they send with it. In Engineering Graphics and Design, some of the writing skills that are needed for Engineering Graphics and Design are clear, concise, and simple writing, persuasive writing, and write with logic and reasoning. I look at everything with logic and reasoning, and the motive behind it is that I like to know why something happens. Looking at something with logic and reasoning helps you better describe any item to your future boss. Persuasive writing is need because you might need to persuasive your boss to build a prototype of something you design. I
