After reading the passage I would use the tips while writing my rough draft by acknowledging that sometimes writing a good paper takes hard work. Along with not getting discouraged when writer block happens. When it comes to actually writing the paper and avoid common distractions that can occur. To make sure all phones and TV’s are turned off while I am trying to focus. I should try to set a goal of writing a set of pages or working for a set period of time. As for having confidence in myself when writing the paper I would slow down and really think about what I am going to write. It also helps to write the paper a couple days before hand.
