At nineteen years old I have written more papers, letters, texts, e-mails and notes then ten people can even remember, and in all honesty only three really stick out in my memory: a four page paper on my dream vacation from ninth grade, my five page research essay from last semester, and my very first college essay also from last semester. With these three in mind I decided one was not like the others, thus my most memorable writing experience would have to be my very first college essay, a short three page paper assigned on a pivotal point in my life, entitled “No, Because I Said So.” This is my most memorable writing experience for three reasons, the first being because it was so difficult for me to write, the second, it took me writing the paper to fully understand the life lesson my pivotal point had taught me, and the third, most important of all is because I was able to share my essay with Mrs. Barrett, thanking her for creating the pivotal point in my life.…
