I think if there is anything this paper as taught me, it is that worldview is so complicated that no one can ever truly understand their own or others’ worldview. Your worldview can be a belief so deeply ingrained with which you are that you don’t even realize that it is that. Your worldview is permanent, but ever-changing part of you that affects every interaction that you have. This article helped me understand that your worldview is your moral compass, letting you know what you believe to be right and true. Every action you make comes down to your worldview. I have five siblings and, even though my parents are still married, my mom is divorced from her first husband. Having a mom who has gone through a divorce and a half sister has had an impact on my worldview. It taught me about how getting divorced is not the worst thing to every happen, but that even 25 years later my mom talks about how it is one of the hardest things she has ever done. It also showed me how even though my oldest sister is my dad’s step child he loved he like she was his daughter and the step child should never feel any different. If my mom were to give up after her first marriage she never would have found my dad. My mom and my dad’s marriage give me the worldview that you can have a happy marriage and that relationships and love are not a waste of time. In addition to all of this the age gap between my oldest sibling if 12 years. This has allowed me to learn different things from each of them as the grown-up. My three older sisters each have had a huge impression on my worldview. My oldest sister just had her 4th kid and has been married for 8 years.
