Why I Chose Engineering Essay

I currently work for a company that cares very little for the environment and only about money. One day I hope to work for a company that is interested in improving the quality of life of the majority and not just that of themselves. I chose Engineering with the goal of using all of my skills to do something with my experience in manufacturing. I’m looking forward to moving into a career involved with solar power and other renewable energies. Once accomplished I feel that my general outlook on life will be much happier and I will enjoy going to work every day, to do something I’m passionate about. He has had many health issues lately, including a heart attack and shortly after a heat stroke. With his family having a severe history of health problems: his dad died of a heart attack in his 50’s, his uncle died of kidney failure not long after, and his aunt had a stroke the week before my fiancé had his. I’m very worried he won’t get the chance to see our son graduate or meet his grandchildren someday. So once we are more financially stable with my new career, I’d like him to stay home and have less stressors on his heart. He is one of the most important people in my life and I would like him to be around for a good long while. To reach my goals I am working full time and going to school full time while also trying to fit family time in, so my sweet baby doesn’t forget that I do this all for him. I’m asking for more assistance from my family and friends to help me through my busy schedule alleviating some of the stress that comes along with a busy life. Since I love to learn I am already feeling more accomplished and positive in the choices I have made in returning to school after a 10 year break, relearning many things I haven’t used in the factory type setting I’m used to at work has brought about a much brighter outlook on my
