My Well-Structured Course Structure

Decent Essays
As a student who learns from hand on experience and copious assignments, this well-structured course has taught me many things. This course is applicable to my life and career path. I originally chose this class as a writing GE, but later realized it was required for my major. I was afraid this course would be difficult, but it demanded a perfect amount from me. The structure of the course was easy to follow and beneficial to my learning style. I was happy to learn that the bulk of our grading would be papers opposed to exams. I enjoy explaining my thoughts; I often struggle on multiple choice tests because I overthink everything. The course itself really forced me to step outside my comfort zone to learn new things. This course has improved myself as a writer and has a critical thinker; with the essays that were written I was challenged to ask more questions and see the bigger picture on things and view a subject from all sides. I never wrote an argumentative essay before this course, so this course taught me what it was how to write one and what exactly I was looking for and what I would be able to improve on. I know there is still room for improvement, but taking this course has already made me a better writer from when I started. Writing argumentative essays would help improve many skills as an individual by learning how to approach important issues without taking a side and learning this would also help if a person was trying to prove a point…

I'll admit it; I have a man crush on Shani Raja. There isn't anyone out there who'll sit down at their desk, point a camera at themselves, look directly at you through the digital medium and tell you what good writing is, what isn't, and how editors turn hum-drum writing into an excellent read. Shani does just that in 'Writing With Flair 2.0: How To Become An Exceptional Writer'. The course is a true behind the scenes look at how exceptional writing is crafted, edited and polished. And best of all; he teaches you how to do it yourself in a clear, concise, and informative way.…

I believe this course was very effective for students as it reflects the purpose of every assignment. Every assignment not only helped me to gain knowledge about different topics but also help me understand their meaning and how they reflect in our life. Ex. This has been such a challenging course for me personally as I’m such a logical person that has always been more of a research analysis typewriter that any level of creative writing is something that is so baffling to me that I put myself into a worrying stint when I signed up for this course. However, now at the end of the semester, I’m utterly glad that I took this course because while this level of writing is very different from my normal range, it helped me to see such a unique form of writing one that I found intriguing and mind opening as this was something I had to relax and just let my mind flow which was definitely the challenging aspect. But this course, in general, was something I found enjoyable, I think that while this was challenging…

When i first entered this course i expected it to be as hard as a college class. What i did find out was that it was much more streamlined and functioned as a class on how to manage your time and deal with big projects. I was really efficient in writing and being creative in my papers but not so much when it came to research papers. We mostly wrote research papers in this class so instead of using my strength in creativity i mostly had to do research and be genuinely interested in the topic i chose. I was used to taking online english classes where i had a lot of time to complete assignments so i felt very independent.…
