“Although most students enroll in college, many of them don’t graduate. About 40 percent of students graduate within four years, according to college planning partnerships” (Thompson.) I believe this percentage is low because college is simply too expensive. Many students cannot pay college tuition without taking out an enormous loan, which most likely will follow them around for the next ten years. There are many scholarships and financial aid services across the country, but the application process is hard to complete. I believe enhancing these few points I have stated will increase our survival rate. If we can lower the cost of a college education, the attendance and graduation rates will improve. If we can enhance the equal job opportunities in the workplace, women and men will have an equal chance of success. If we can help every citizen have a place to call home, we will have people off the streets and feel a sense of relief knowing that everyone has a safe place to stay and create loving families.
