My Vision For America Essay

Since the founding of America on July 4th 1776, and even before then, America has been a country that carried the hopes of millions for a better life for everyone, a fresh start for hard workers, and the vision of a new land where all are free. Most would agree, America is an amazing country with so much to offer its citizens and even immigrants from all over the world. Most would also agree that there are plenty of things America as a country and as a society could improve upon. In my vision of America, I see a country where everyone is equal, despite race, gender, religion, or orientation. I see a country where everyone has a home and nobody goes without food or fresh water. I see a country where there is equal access to healthcare, and everyone who works makes a living wage. In my vision for America, everyone is equal, everybody makes enough money to live off of, everyone has necessities of life, and everyone has access to universal healthcare. I believe that America, as a society, needs to focus on tolerance and acceptance toward people of every race, gender, religion, and orientation. I believe that the direction America should be heading is a direction in which there is universal healthcare that is free for those who cannot afford it. Many people who do not make enough money are uninsured, and those who make just enough to cover the cost of living are now forced to purchase Obamacare through the government. America should be able to provide affordable and adequate health insurance to everyone, and free healthcare for those who may seem like they make enough money to pay for insurance on their own, but when the cost of living is factored in, really cannot afford to spend their money on health insurance. In my vision for America, people would not have to worry about affording mandatory healthcare when they are only barely making rent on their
