My Veterans: My Hope For The Future

Do you know any veterans? Most people know family members that have served or are serving for the country. Throughout history veterans have fought to keep war away from our children. My hope for the future is to see children who are safe, citizens with pride for their country, and appreciation for those who make it possible.
I have optimism for the future that kids will be safe. In places like Uganda or Afghanistan children's daily lives are filled will guns and death. They have to go through war every single day to go to school or home. All those young people's lives have changed since the war has started. Hopefully someday in the future fighting and killing will stop especially in places with young children present.
