In contrast to my goals and personality, my values coincide with my core being. What is important to me is a good question to ask. I use this same question when I meet a new friend. It provides groundwork to establish what is important to them and compare them to mine. I have developed my own value system. It has applied to the core concepts of nature and nurture continues to interact as I progressed through childhood to adulthood. I didn’t have a good foreground examples as a child.

It was either positive or negative. It still impacted me into the person that I am today. There are very limited amount of family members that are in my current life that I value their input. My sister, Haley has been one of my biggest influence in my life. I am doing something which she feels that she will never achieve. Even though, I try to encourage her to try, she foresees not attending college. We destress each other in our aspects of life. We relate to the medical field and our daily lives. She supports me in every way. Her house is always open to me. I am happy we have such a close and loving relationship. My dad, encourages me to get my RN, now that my kids are grown and no controlling husband. He has been at the same job, Air Force for over 36 years, now semi- retired, he has shown me hard work and dedication pays off. Whenever I was having a problem, he would say to me” You’re a Province, pull yourself up by the boot straps and go to work”. I could never been able to commit myself to the military, never like being yelled at. He has committed relationships, but never remarried after my parents divorced. He had strong morals and beliefs.
