My Six Personal Values

Improved Essays
I have numerous plans that I want to accomplish. Right now, they seem a little difficult and time-consuming. Thankfully, I am aligning my values and goals together. This will help me organize my thoughts in a less complicated way. In the end, I do have faith in myself that I will be able to do everything.

I have six main values. Some of the values I currently do very well while others need more work. First, I value serving God in my heart and then reflecting it in all areas of my life. Serving God gives me an overwhelming peace and meaning to life. When stressful things happen, I remember what he has done for me and in return, I take my upset feelings and do for others. Putting him first reminds me of what is truly important.

Secondly, I value loving and supporting my family. This is a value that I wish I could have. I don’t do it as much as I need to or want to, but it is something I need to work on nonetheless. I know that my family has my back through it all and I need to show that I have theirs. Third, I value loving myself. This is also a value that I wish I could have. Oftentimes, I push myself to the side. I forget that I

Every day, I write in my journal of everything that I need to do and what time it needs to be done. I use ice cream and other sweets to hold myself accountable. Also, I will gain the confidence to speak to my musical leader easier and form a relationship where he trusts me a lead role. In addition to speaking with him better, I will practice harder. If I complete these, I am rewarded with a treat. My family will help me stick to this plan. They are not afraid to let me know when I have fallen off the track and always check up on me. I know that I am making progress by reaching certain checkpoints. Those check points are finishing the first and second semester of school. To celebrate, my family and I will go to a restaurant of my

For my visual representation, I added pictures to a map of the world to exemplify how I want to change the world. One of the ways I see the world is filled with compassion, and one way I want to add compassion to our world is by volunteering with my church and, ironically, with a group called compassion, in Chadirac, Haiti. I want to spread love to the children and city I help sponsor, and help the children know they are wanted. Another way I see the world is more sustainable, which is one of the reasons I left my hometown of St. Louis to come here, so I could help the environment and become part of an environmentally friendly community. I also see a world where family matters, which is why I want to explore the Czech Republic and Germany, the two main places my family came from.…

VOLKSWAGEN: THE SCANDAL EXPLAINED CASE STUDY My five most important personal core values include honesty, self-acceptance, fairness, helping and forgiveness; Honesty is like a security blanket with a relationship, it’s the foundation of whether you choose to have a happy, long lasting relationship or whether you want it to be a lie and be an unresolved case of the truth. Self-acceptance is wanting to love yourself despite what everyone else thinks, to be self-accepting you have to have happiness and satisfaction within yourself. Fairness, true fairness would be where everyone is treated the same, or there is an unbiased system of balance. Helping, I believe that not even one person knows everything there is to do with the world and its matter.…

I have a lot of values, beliefs, and ways how I learn and they all make me different from other people. For my values, I value lots of things in a person but I mostly value these three things, friendship, fearlessness, and honesty. I value friendship because it's good to have friends that care about you and help you make good choices like my friends Roen and Andrew, I value fearlessness because I like a person that isn't always scared to try something new or live life at its fullest, and I value honesty because it's the key to making strong relationships and connections and that you know they're loyal to you and always tells you the truth. Everyone has different beliefs they follow.…

Code of Ethics An integral part of living is the choices that we face each day that shape our lives and create ourselves. We are constantly making moral decisions that reflect our own internal moral compass. Often times we are not aware of our personal moral values that drive our choices, and we may even be oblivious to the fact that the choices we are making have a moral component. Nevertheless, we all have many values that have been acquired over the course of our lives.…

The activity done in class showed me that my top three values in life were Family, Success and Positive Attitude. My values are all connected to my day-day activities. My family is an essential part of my life, and whenever I do something in life, I always think of my family. When I am at school, and I have many assignments due and midterms during the same week, I often feel overwhelmed but when I think about my family I push myself to do my best as I always want to make my parents proud. Whenever I have to make a critical decision, for instance, if I should take action against a group member who has not helped me and despite many conversations things have not changed, I often talk to my parents and ask them for advice.…

As I reflect on my personal life I value life itself to the point I live each day not knowing what to expect the next day. Positivity is a major factor in all that I do to the point of trying to view all things in a positive way and leaving the negativity out the door. As a mother, partner, educator, and entrepreneur I strive to be mindful, spiritual, and conscious of all my actions. I value these things because this is what makes up my life and what I live for each day. My life is a fourth generation person and I relate because I “want to live, love, learn, and leave it like a seed with balance and joy" (Covey, 73) the quality of my life is more important than planning it out.…
