People thing is a very unique experience being in born in the USA and having a Hispania or Latino background. In a ways is very unique having two different background; I get to learn two different language English and Spanish. I get to know my American culture and my Honduran culture. It is not always easy being Hispanic American. A good reason being born in the United States is that I have more opportunities here. The downside is that I did not get to grow up knowing Honduras for myself and not from my parents’ point of view. Now don’t get me wrong, I love being from both places, and I am very happy I was born in the United States. But people from both sides look at me differently. I learned about my American roots from school and TV. I was born I Los Angeles, California. The primary language is English. I learn English from: TV, school, and my older brothers; my parent didn’t teach me English, they only know Spanish. My parents tried very hard to teach me Spanish but English was much easier for me to learn. I always understand what my parent said to me but I would answer in English. Even if both sides think that I do not speak Spanish well or that I do not speak English well. I get to enjoy both world and get to eat American and Honduran food. It is hard and confessing some times because American expected me to act American and Hispanic expected me to act their way. I try to teach my kids about both side of us and it does not matter what either side think you should be. I tell my kids learn to be both in your own way, I do tell them to learn Spanish and English because it will help them in their life to learn two languages but I do not push them to be one way or the
