My two positive roles are Meditator and Spokesperson. As the meditator one can help their fellow team members to reach many decisions without the risk of conflict and confusion. I chose spokesperson because I have the ability to speak for other team members in critical situations that others may feel out of character in doing so (Manning & Curtis, 2012). When a spokesperson has the ability to speak up in a group setting as a spokesperson can also help the team to become more confident in problem solving in the future. Therefore I usually assume the role of the facilitator to discuss the issues at hand and try to come to a calm solution for the department.
