My Tumorr: A Short Story

Do you have a family member who is an alcoholic or has a fatty liver? Well, you might want to help them stop now or they might end up like my mom did. My mom had Cirrhosis of the liver which is what you get when you get fat from the liver and drinking alcohol on top of that. February 22, 2014, is the date my mom found out she had Cirrhosis of the liver. We had no idea what it was but, after we asked the doctor what it was he advised us, "It's when your liver starts to slowly deteriorate and is not able to function because of chronic, long-lasting injury" I was scared, nervous, sad, and extremely angry. Not long after that, her eyes started to turn a lite tint of yellow and got easily frustrated. She even broke up with Nick (her boyfriend) because she could not deal with him at the time, which I think is sad, but I would make her happy by rubbing her feet whenever she wanted me to. The liquid in her stomach was called bilirubin. When they first drained her they got 19 pounds out of her stomach, which is a great deal of it. But, my mom looked pregnant. (I wish she was) She had to go get her stomach drained up to once or twice a week and My grandparents would drive us there because my mom was not allowed to drive.(my grandpa told her that).But sometimes when I went with I would bring one of my video games to play on because it could take half an hour to one lengthy hour. My grandma would do the wordsearch and my grandpa would watch what was on tv at the time. Mostly news or game shows, which he hates those
