My Trip To Disneyland-Personal Narrative

“OMG! Really?!” I exclaimed.
“Yes, we will be going on a road trip to Disneyland. But we aren’t going to just Disneyland, you know,” my mom announced.
“Yeah, we will be going to a bunch of different states and seeing lots of different sites. It will take about a month, as well,” dad added.
I sat there in shock. I really wanted to go to Disneyland but a month long trip? What about my friend’s birthday party and the beginning of summer slumber party?
“OK...I’m in, but we can’t leave right now because I have a surprise party to throw!” I said smiling.
My parents grinned at each other and nodded, as a sign of agreement.

Then, a week later.
“Mom! I finished packing. Should I bring the dog treats?” I asked.
“Sure,” she responded.

For me, every spring break is characterized by a short trip to either Bald Head Island, or my uncle and aunt’s house in Georgia. This spring break would be different though. A day after Easter Sunday, my parents told me, my brother, and my sister that we were going down to Georgia. We were excited for the trip, as we are all trips, but we would be a lot more excited about four hours into the six hour drive to Georgia. My parents pull the car into a rural, roadside gas station, fill up the car, then proceed to surprise us with a trip to Disney World.…
